ContentsWelcome to Matchez. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, services, and website (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Matchez, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws.

Matchez is a candidate-first talent marketplace that:
Connects talented professionals with employers through a flipped recruitment model
Enables candidates to showcase their skills and experience anonymously
Allows employers to discover and pitch to qualified talent
Facilitates secure communication and feedback between parties
Provides market insights and analytics to both candidates and employers
To use Matchez, you must:
Be at least 18 years of ageHave the legal capacity to enter into contractsProvide accurate, truthful, and complete informationComply with all applicable laws and regulationsNot be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

You may not use Matchez to:
Employers purchase credits to send pitches to candidates. Credits are consumed only when candidates accept pitches.
All prices are displayed in USD. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Current prices apply to existing credits.
Unused credits may be eligible for refund within 30 days of purchase, subject to our refund policy. Contact support for requests.
The Matchez platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Matchez and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission. All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed are registered and unregistered marks of Matchez.
By submitting content to Matchez (profiles, pitches, messages), you:
Retain ownership of your contentGrant us a license to use, display, and distribute itRepresent that you have the right to share this contentAre responsible for the accuracy and legality of contentUnderstand content may be visible to other users per your privacy settingsAllow us to moderate or remove content that violates these TermsYou may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your profile will be removed, but some data may be retained for legal or operational purposes.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason with or without notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MATCHEZ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, nor do we warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content. Matchez is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the conduct of users or the outcome of employment relationships.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MATCHEZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Contact us first to resolve disputes informally. We'll work in good faith to find a solution.
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings.
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of Matchez after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
